Slabs forming at lower elevations climbing from bouillon basin to platinum peak(6000ft, SW aspect). Shooting cracks about 2m+ on unsupported snow (skin track). About 5cm thick. Happened in specific pockets, decreased as we gained elevation. Storm rolled in around 1030, wind transport at the platinum peak saddle around 12pm. Snow packs obs: 5900ft SW aspect. Snow depth 62cm 32cm fist, 15cm pencil, 15cm 4f to ground. 6600ft SE aspect snow depth 75cm. Storm snow from Thurs ~30cm Good skiing on east aspect from platinum peak in about 1ft of good quality snow. The exit back to car park is pretty horrific. Rock skis recommended
