Quick report
Snow started on hwy 2, lower elevation than anticipated although accumulations were initially light, particularly in the forest where we shortcutted the old road switchbacks. Snowshoes required by 3500 elevation. We didn't see any evidence of wind loading or drifting. Snow was very deep making trail breaking a challenge. At the summit we measured 3 feet of storm snow above the crust and a total of 6.7 feet of snow. Photos are from the last 500 vert towards the summit.
