Lots of sun warming on the South facing aspects of the mountain, resulting in ever growing roller balls. As the day went on the tree sluff started accumulating into ever increasing sizes. Though snow itself was 6-12 inches deep and felt well bonded to the crust below it. It skied surprisingly well and our hands hurt from all the spontaneous high-fiving.
