Light west winds ridge top,
Snowpack
Hs 170cm, EFC, 70cm, shovel shear showed a clean break at 40cm from surface, column , failed on 14, 30cm from surface, 15 failed on facets associated with EFC. 17cm of light density sitting on the previous warm deposit, mostly well bonded but skin track revealed some slipping. I was able to detect 4 individual discontinues above the EFC, two were poorly bonded. Surface crystal growth was observed in open sky locations.
