Intermittent snow showers with some sunbreaks mostly in the morning. Calm to light wind.

Snowpack

6”-12” low density storm snow on top of crust. Supportiveness and thickness of crust varied a lot throughout the terrain. Surface snow became denser on solar aspects and a solar crust was noted on some solar aspects in the afternoon.

Avalanche

Many D1 dry loose avalanches observed from both yesterday and today. Larger D1.5 dry loose triggered by a snowboarder on Gargoyle Prow in the morning
