Quick report
In the morning, there was 4-5 inches of dry powder (dry by Snoqualmie standards) that felt very right side up, sitting atop harder packed snow from the last week of snowfall, making for phenomenal skiing conditions. By afternoon, some warmth made the new snow a little more dense, but still relatively dry by Snoqualmie standards. No signs of instability at all. The Hyak face itself is quite moguled out after all the early season enthusiasm. (:
