Quick report
Below 4k it was a wet snowpack with breakable crust away form the trees and moist snow near trees. Above, there was a hodge podge of surfaces, sun crust, corn, faceted soft snow, breakable crust and mashed potatoes. The views were incredible the skiing was not. I expect with a refreeze ski crampons will become mandatory.
Avalanche
I observed avalanches basically everywhere that avalanches run. The North Chiwaukum bowl was full of old debris. I also saw slides in the bowl on the Middle Chiwaukum area and Rock-Howard-Mastiff area. Some of these looked old some looked like they ran within the last 24 hours.
