Quick report
There's still not a whole lot of snow up in the Baker backcountry, but there's enough to have a good time if you can tolerate some rocks and funk. We didn't note any immediately concerning layers or grain types in or on the snowpack, so hopefully these next couple storms deliver and things start filling in. Evidence of of a large (relative to the amount of snow on the ground) wet loose cycle in steep start zones on the south side of Table; many paths had run near or to the ground/rock. The only active instability we noted during our tour was minor cracking in wind-stiffened snow on leeward slopes near ridgelines.
