4-6” of light new snow was reactive on steep convex rollovers, where we observed cracking and remotely triggered several small avalanches below the road cut. We avoided terrain traps and large slopes where these small avalanches could have posed a problem. Later in the day as temperatures went above freezing we observed numerous natural wet loose avalanches on the south facing steep slopes above Rainy Creek RD, none more than D1
