Quick report
No signs of instability were observed prior to the avalanche, however the slope was not tested. Hand pits on similar N aspects did not yield significant results.
Avalanche
Avalanche occurred while skinning up a N aspect around 5150'. Crown broke above the lead skinner and carried him down about 300' vertical. Victim was able to stay on top of the slide with assistance from an airbag. Ended with a partial burial but was able to dig himself free. Second skinner was not swept by the avalanche.
