Quick report
One of those days where weather shifts from winter to spring every five minutes. Short, passing snow showers would be broken up by periods of sun and light winds during snow showers winds would pick up and blow snow. This fresh snow (1-2 inches, more with in areas with wind transport) offered a nice dust on crust surface to ski on. The hard freeze from last night abated any worries about a breakable crust leading to fun ski conditions so long as avalanche debris was avoided. When the sun came out, the new surface snow would quickly react to the strong solar heating and begin to form small roller balls. No other signs of instability were observed .
Avalanche
Observed debris from several D1-D2 wet loose slides on the north facing aspects descending from Artists Point. Timing was likely after Thursdays 1 inch of rain that fell on last weeks fresh snow
