Very difficult travel down low. Skinned along the PCT, then up the commonwealth basin towards red mountain, crossing tons of debris from the last avalanche cycle. Turned around at 4200’ where there was ~4-6 of wind affected snow. Easily produced results in a quick hand shear test. Observed some cracking.
