Quick report
Good spring conditions on Squak Glacier weekend of 5/31. Hiked up Park Creek Trail and then up Rocky Creek (winter access) and Camped at 4400 under clearing skies. Woke to cold temps and clear skies and ascended up the Squak and Roman Wall to summit. Hard conditions on the Roman wall with a little windblown power on skiers left led to several thousand feet of great corn. Brisk wind and cool conditions kept skiing reasonably firm all the way back to camp. Glacier is in good shape with very little crevasse danger evident. Nice to get the payoff of walking in the rain! No instability issue observed.
