7 Steps - Pterodactyl line

great late season powder skiing in the tree triangle. Touchy wind slabs in lee slopes in the alpine

Dropped into 7 steps between Pterodactyl and Asulkan hut. Skier triggered sz 2 wind slab just below hut elevation, ran down to moraine below. No skier involvement, we didn't stick around long to determine the failure plane. We traversed safely back toward tree triangle and enjoyed another lap of solid powder through the trees.
