Quick report
We skinned out to the bottom of Meiss trees. While skinning, there were no signs of snow pack instability although the surface was very textured due to high winds the day before. We climbed up to the ridge to lookers right of where we observed the avalanche. As we climbed, there was no cracking off of the ski or sounds. As we neared the top of the ridge, the snow became slabby but nothing of concern on slopes of under 30 degrees. Nice day and skiing was good although that rain crust under the light power was very noticeable on every turn.
