Sunny skies with warm temperatures again today. Calm to light SW winds increased slightly into the mid-day with a few clouds developing.
Snowpack
We went to Tamarack Peak today to look at spring snow conditions at upper elevations. Overnight temperatures were again in the low to mid 40's on remote sensors near this location with a poor to no overnight refreeze of the snow surface expected. We did have some supportable snow on east aspects in the mid morning hours that was better than what we have experienced over the last few days. The transitional surface snow has somewhat improved as it goes through additional melt-freeze cycles. These conditions didn't last too long though, by later in the morning the snow surface started to lose supportability and became wet and sticky on all sun exposed slopes.
