Sun was nice but the cold wind and wind chill burned a bit. Ridgetop winds were selective. Different surrounding peaks had plumes of blowing snow at different times through the day.
Snowpack
Though shallow, this area has the most snow in the zone I have seen this season. Still some very thin areas and bare ground showing in places. Faceted snow grains are growing. Mid pack is loosing strength due to cold temperatures.
