Quick report

Collapsing
specific

The westerly winds quickly filled in our skin track from just a few hours earlier. The slab is becoming denser near the 1/31 facets and is nearly a meter thick. Clouds and intermittent snow squalls made it difficult to track any recent avalanche activity. Collapsing was in wind-loaded ridgelines.

Snowpack

The slab overlying the 1/31 weak layer is growing thick. It's now ~86 cm thick and get denser over the weak layer. Extended Column tests produced no results on the 1/31 with the 30 taps. A Propagation Saw test produced PST20/100 (End) down 86 cm. ECTN10s on the 2/6 interface down 32 cm. A very thin rain crust was down 50 cm and almost undetectable.
