We stayed on slopes >30deg and avoided steeper rocky terrain at or near ridgelines. Hardening Storm Slab avalanches possible in sheltered N-facing terrain likely headed towards a persistent slab problem. Small cracking underneath our skis on wind features and a few collapses while traveling in a big group around More's Mt. Snowprofile and small and large column tests show a weak structure and unstable new/old interface. 55cm of new storm snow that has been increasing in slab hardness throughout the last week. 1/31 interface is MFcr/ facet combo that is reactive in small column tests. We were able to get propagation in ECT test with a few extra thumps but did not have time for a PST. Surfaces on solar aspects are 2-4cm breakable crusts.
