Quick Observation

Good visibility from town today, showed evidence of an avalanche cycle during the Weds storm - There are numerous Size 2 Storm Slabs out on Steep, East facing Alp terrain. Slabs noted on the looker right roll into Little Simpsons, and several slabs out in the upper end of Big Simpsons Gulch. With Binoculars one can see several crowns that are filled in that appear top to have run during the storm, there are several on the upper reaches of the Kathlyn flank that are filled in. All of the slabs appear to be generally storm or wind slab avalanches, with confined propagations to the terrain features - It would be really good to know if people observe anything stepping into the deeper persistant instabilities.
