Quick report
We saw plenty of small loose-wet debris in the chutes above Source Lake. We didn't observe any activity today though or any obvious signs of instability. There is a 0.5" layer of wet surface ice (bordering on what I would call a trap crust) which starts a couple hundred feet below the Snow Lake saddle. Below that, the snow was wet, sloppy, and heavy. It was quite consistent though so it wasn't too bad to ski and it's far from the worst conditions I've seen in Source Lake Basin. The weather was a constant light rain throughout the morning. The creeks was roaring today and we saw several waterfalls that are normally buried under the snowpack.
