Quick report
Tour on the Salmon side of the pass, mostly south and southwest exposure. Winds significant throughout - transporting snow from ~SE. Wind effect on snowpack anywhere with exposure - wind board/crust forming on ridge, shallower snowpack in these areas as well. Dug a pit at 9K on a SW aspect, then at 9K on a NW aspect. See pictures. Extended column test at both sites didn't have obvious collapse or propogation (although I didn't do any monster slams on the shovel). But afterwards, as I moved the snow, propagation happened, as shown.
