Quick Observation

Found the culprit of last weeks avy debris, east chute off the slide path had a 4-5m crown line by the looks of it. There was also a new slide off the lower east face of emerald peak, maybe 2-3days old. Looks like it was triggered by a cornice judging by the size of the debris, it ran from ~2350-1900. Didn't venture to the col as the wind slabs were stiffening up. Skiing was good skiers right of the path and below the debris field in the path.
