No wind cries Mary

No wind effect in the alpine and 20 to 30 cm of soft snow on a bomber crust. Surface crusts exist on steeper south (and some southeast/southwest) facing slopes, but the riding is decent if you can pick aspects that avoid them. No recent avalanches (except for the pine marten's one in the photo). Lots of evidence of the widespread avalanche cycle from last week, which seemed to only produce wet loose avalanches (no slabs). Some were fairly large and potentially covering access roads.
