Quick Observation

Lower elevation travel is getting better with more snow coverage. Surface snow is powdery 10 cm thick sitting on a MFcr. At lower elevations. Depth of surface snow is around 20 cm at higher elevations. Not a lot of WL activity, one size 1 noted on a 55 degree slope, and sign of covered pinwheels from recent storm. Arrived at 1700m around 1400 hrs and dug a full profile pit. Ski down was good with nice turns in powder and a touch of grabbiness from the crust.

Snowpack

CTN and ECTX Surface snow is DF 20cm thick sitting on a MFcr down 20+ 1F 10cm thickness, below that is a 4F hard interface and then a thin MFcr down 60-70.
