Limestone

With the forecast indicating a strong inversion we headed up high to stay warm. We had great visibility and saw no new avalanches. There were some small wet loose avalanches out of extreme terrain from yesterday. The temperature got to 3°c at 2075 m but the moderate winds kept the snow cool and the surface was still dry. Seems like the old wind slabs are healing and the sun lacks punch at this time of year. Good time to take small steps towards bigger terrain.
