Short Fingers

Quick tour in the Fingers. Topped out for lunch at 1400 m. Lots of happy people out riding:) The first 300 m of descent was awesome skiing. Getting up to the thighs if you found a pocket that hadn't been skied in for a few days. Around 1100m there was a denser layer of snow down 20 cm that was a little grabby but still manageable to ski. No signs of instability observed. Snowing 1 cm an hour all day.

Probed an undisturbed area and found 80 cm of low density snow on top. Below that was 40 cm of denser snow (~1 finger-pencil) on top of 75 cm of various crust layers.
