We skinned up towards Perley Rock from the Asulkan Valley Parking. It was cold! At 2100m HS 205cm, Dec1 crust down 60cm, approx 10cm thick, -17degC at 12:05pm. At TL large Surface Hoar crystals, up to 2cm, lying flat on top of PPsd. We observed: Multiple Na Sz 1 Loose Dry on steep unsupported slopes on all aspects. One Na Sz1 Wind Slab on West aspect on crossloaded steep unskiable terrain around 2700m. We set off one and observed multiple Sa Sz1 Loose Dry on steep convex West & WNW facing (see photos).
