Ursus Trees

Group Broke trail ~40cm ski penetration. Snow was -11 in the valley and -3 in the alpine. No wind am, light wind in the pm from the south. Loose dry snow in the trees. Slabby in yhe open areas 15cm and 40cm. Down 40 cm the snow was -10. The snow surface was -3.8. Heard many avalanches and saw a few from across the valley (Cheops N) # 4 ran sz 3 at 3:30pm with an impressive powder cloud. It ran again 20 mins. later. Fequent Flyer ran to the skin track barely.
