Perley Rock

We went up to Perley Rock today. We did not observe any signs of instability throughout the day. The river at the bottom was frozen and we could easily skin across it. However, there was a lot of tree wells on the way up the trees (skier right of the ice/rock patch). We could feel the crust 15-20 cm down on the NW side of the moraine. Skiing quality was amazing in the alpine but a bit more adventurous in the trees du to the tree wells.
