Steep Creek

Last bit of slide coming over the cliff shown in photo #2. Not close enough to make out a distinct, continuous crown. Old debris in the bowl above Darkside Lake coming off the East-facing and Northeast-facing slopes (assumed to be natural, no signs of tracks).

At treeline and above, winds were strong with extreme gusts. We could see snow being blown off ridge tops from the highway. When we arrived in the morning, cars that had been there overnight only had about 10cm of new snow on them. Very light snow started at around 15:00.
