Out with an Island Alpine Guides group near Mount Washington. Great powder skiing on supported, mellow treeline terrain. Avoided steep open convex features. No natural avalanches observed. One small size 1.0 skier triggered avalanche observed (see tab) Test profile (see tab).
Cliff huck to skier accidental. Limited propogation, limited run length.
Moderate shear (RP) down 45 on thin temperature crust. Hard RP shear down 90 above crust/facet laminate (suspect some SH as well).
