Post holing from ankle to thigh deep enroute from The Whistlers to Indian Ridge. Light, unconsolidated 5-10cm snow on top of a more consolidated layer ranging from 5-50cm deep to ground. Whumpfing on low angle ~20 degree slopes both south and north facing.
