We found good skiing on the northeast face of Cleveland (skiing from the southeast summit), with approximately 20cm powder well bonded to existing surface. We stayed away from south facing slopes due to crusty conditions, we also were aware of possible instabilities and observed some some wet snow points of release on the south aspects. The day was warm and cloudy, and there was no overnight freeze lower down. We heard whumpfing on the way down on a shallow south facing slope at approximately 1100m elevation. The turns were good when the sun came out in the late afternoon. #decreasing clouds
