Chickadee valley/Chimney Col

Chimney Col glacier. 200cm at that elevation on the ice. CTM down 30 RP on large stellars on a stiffer bed surface. Skied down to Chickadee valley. Stayed in supported terrain to treeline (2000m) where there is 135cm. Very facetted snowpack overall below this elevation. Good ski quality. Evidence of some cornice falls within the last few days which did not propagate a slab below. Chimney col side has many crevasses still open and no avalanche activity on the steep slopes on that route.
