- <p>My test results were negative, but I'm not trusting the 2/14 NSF just yet. We've seen avalanches break on this layer earlier in the week, so I consider this layer suspect and guilty until proven otherwise.</p>
Storm snow has settled out nicely, there's a go-anywhere base, topped of with low density snow. I found surface hoar from tip to tail, even in the alpine, especially on slopes facing the north half of the compass.
