South dolomite

5 to 10 cm yesterday (sunday) with some strong winds blowing north to south. Plenty of drifting and scouring. Pockets of soft snow found with some wind crust as well that provided decent skiing and easy travel. Of note there is new sun crust from Saturday that is about 1 cm or so on south facing aspects. It is not supportive to a skier. Didn't dig to see what was above or below but it was quite weak. Old avalanche debris in the bowl pictured triggered from steep roll and thin area. Slid to base.
