- Wind Loading, Poor Snowpack Structure
- Red Flags Comment
-
Only observed dramatic wind loading fm southwest winds...and a poor snow structure today. Very poor structure evident with ski pole tests and simply bottoming out through the slab into the facets below. I attribute no cracking or collapsing to others that had been there first. Was quite surprised that Reynolds main face or the rest of the shoulder had not avalanched yet.

Snowpack
Rain-rime crust up to 8800' in the Mill D North area, ranging from 5-10mm thick; more presenting as a thin translucent rain crust below 8000', This should be blanketed by tonight's snowfall but the crusts should be investigated for facets in the coming days.
