Quick report
While driving down Parleys I could see east winds moving snow on Mount Aire. Then looking over towards Grandview Peak in the north part of the Salt Lake forecast region powerful east winds where sending a consistent plume of snow off of Grandview Peak.
The forecast talked about these winds and how they can be hard to forecast for. Drew suspected they may be strong and this is a good confirmation of this.
East winds our not very common in the Wasatch. Weird weather makes weird avalanches so this is something to take note of..
