Quick report
Multiple laps on an E/NE face at 9k’. Fantastic riding conditions and high quality snow. No settling or cracking Rider on the 5th track to be put on the face pulled out a windslab approx 3’ deep and 30’ wide. The slab went over a small cliff of about 15-20’. The force triggered a very large R3 D3 deep slab avalanche that propagated approx 400’ across the slope and 3-5’ deep. Ran approx 900’ vertical down to 8100’ Both recent storm layers visible in the slab. Ran on the January drought layer. No injuries or burials.
