Quick report
Observed reactive wet slide avalanches in steep, complex terrain on southern aspects in the Snake River Range. Triggered one large wet slide that was very slow to start but gained momentum. Did not notice I had triggered it until already completed my traverse to the safer terrain. Northern aspects in the shade were very stable even at elevation. Wind from the north, northeast was beginning to add effect. I should have been doing these all season. This is my first one. I apologize. Steep drainage and terrain traps on southern aspect of Deadhorse let loose very easily around 1-2pm. Accurate for the day's forecast.

Northern, shaded areas were stable and good. Skied the chutes on the other side of Deadhorse on my way to Deadhorse. Exposed sections W, SW, S, SE, E were heavy but lightened up above 8500'~ or so. Wet slides as identified in the morning forecast were active.

Wide, slow wet slide was initiated at the top of a drainage egressing off the lower section of Deadhorse.
