We observed: •no obvious signs of instability. •moderate southwest wind along the ridges We found good skiing conditions above 6000 feet in sheltered locations but the shallow snowpack in the northern Swan makes riding off trail less than ideal. We observed no obvious signs of instability.

Snowpack
5-25 cm of new snow sits above the crust from 12/19. This crust exists to nearly 7000 ft. We observed substantial faceting of upper snowpack above 6500 ft. on shaded aspects.
