Quick report
Recent wet slide and wet slab activity. And wind slab activity. We dug a pit on a NW slope at 7000 and found no signs of instability. Seemed like the persistent weak layer was non existent. As we were booting the NE ridge of Liebig to ski the NW couloir we found 6-8 inch wind slabs on faceted crusts. This turned us around and we ended up just booting up the NW couloir of Liebig. Small wind slab triggered on the skin track. Big wind event the night of March 31st and into the early morning of April 1st. Slab was acknowledged and with a hard stomp it was triggered. The trigger point was on a role over and it propagated enough to take me with it. Luckily I was on the edge and was not buried.
