Quick report
Had to come back to the spider to relive some good turns, ended up being worthwhile. Plenty of debris in the natural landslide from previous rain. Pretty darn warm out, really feeling like spring is springing below 5500 feet. Snow was good and the out was quick. Periods of sunshine in the afternoon were nice, and we timed it right and missed any kind of sun affected snow we might have ridden had we dropped later. West/southwest aspects here have been pretty sheltered from the wind and we only found wind slabs on the most exposed NW facing ridges, more of a crossloading situation in the right areas. Pit results did not propagate, however our column test sandwiched like a layered cake from the recent crusts, each one failing subsequently after the next in the first 1 foot. No signs of instability or whoompfing here.

Warm cloudy day transitioning to a spring like sunny afternoon. Gonna need to install a misting fan on my hat at this rate in the sauna of the forest!
Snowpack
Layered cake of sun crusts to soft snow, first 4 inches were blower cold smoke. Hard layer apprx. 3-4 feet down, no faceting snow above this layer here that we found but I suspect everywhere else around the compass would have weak snow resting atop this layer.
