Angle (Togwotee)

10-12" new, light-density snow on Angle Mountain.

Cleared the interval board - 13 inches (34cm), 1.1 inches SWE (Last cleared 2/22)

Dug at 9900 feet, west aspect: ECTN6 down 14 inches (35cm) just below new/old interface, CT10 Q1 also 14 inches down, CT22 Q1  35 inches (90cm) down in 4 finger facets below 1 finger slab.

Very little wind affect overall given the last few days of moderate/strong winds. Small wind slabs were isolated to ridgelines. I was able to jump on a small cornice and get it to release and trigger a very small 10" soft wind slab. No other cracking or collapsing during the tour. Cornices continue to grow.

No new avalanches were seen from the road up to the pass.

The only cracking was isolated to ridgelines (10,000') in soft wind-affected snow. Cracks were not shooting more than a couple feet. Was able to stomp on a small cornice and get a very soft 10 inch wind slab (less than D.5) to release.
