We rode the Monte Cristo area in the upper elevations today. New snow above 8000 ft ranged from 10 inchs to 14 inches in spots. Snow layers are bonded well. No slides were seen, snow seams to at low risk for moving. There was a lot of wind loaded cornice areas that had a lot of overhang. I would not ride below or above those. Our group avoids big open areas and stays in the trees as much as possible. Thanks for your work UAC.
