Quick report
I probed a few times on polar aspects on our way up and found HS to be anywhere from 80cm to 140cm. At 9600' we dug a pit on a NNE aspect and 30 degree slope. - HS 70cm - At 47cm was a knife hard crust with 2mm facets below to the ground. The facets were 4F hard to the ground. - Our Extended Column Test resulted in ECTX, which was surprising. As the day progressed, snow began loading into the top of the NE gullies off of the summit plateau of Red. Saltation was observed in the bowls immediately below those gullies around 10200'. No signs of instability. However, we did ride on and through a lot of avi debris from the last cycle. These slides were reported in earlier observations.

It was a warm day up there with developing stratospheric cloud cover, as well as some lenticulars developing over the valley to the north.
Snowpack
The snow is really settling down in this zone with bushes and tree stumps finding their way to the surface. Careful skiing and riding is needed to avoid the sharks! The flatter terrain is becoming sun affected and a bit crusty.... but snowboarding through it feels pretty okay. Sorry skiers...
