Quick report
Most of the new snow activity was in the form of long running sluffs, in the steeper terrain. Quite a few natural sluffs ran last night during the storm, could initiate sluffs with ski cuts in steeper terrain, such as the key hole entry into Cardiff but today they were not running far or packing much of a punch. No other storm snow instabilities noted today. Pics natural sluffs on SE facing Cardiac Ridge, new snow sluffs on Hansens between the Ridge and the Bowl E facing, natural small sluffs on LSB NE facing.
Snowpack
Was seeing 10 to 12 inches of new light density snow from the storm, fairly well bonded except in steeper terrain were it would sluff. New snow not adding much weight to the overall snowpack.
