patchy buried melt freeze crust and thin snow pack make for interesting conditions at this time. surface hoar starting to form already.

- <p>The melt freeze crust sitting on facets can be found on only the most northerly sheltered aspects. The crust I found can easily be felt by pole probing. it feels fairly stout. However with high pressure and cold nights/thin snow pack I would expect this crust to weaken.</p>
settled soft snow, starting to facet now. lower elevation trees have started to drop snow from storm and icicles forming from pine trees. sun crust on south east to south west aspects.
