-
A full bag of Red Flags, with several audible collapses (whumpfs) and shooting cracks. We noted a few small natural soft slab avalanches at low elevations on our way down Logan Canyon.

- Instability Comment
-
The danger of avalanches failing on a widespread weak layer consisting of sugary faceted snow and/or surface hoar will continue to increase and become more widespread as heavy snow and drifting overload slopes steeper than 30° at all elevations...

Nice powder, but perhaps too deep and somewhat slow in <30° terrain, which was not quite steep enough for ideal powder skiing. It was probably pretty great riding, but we left our sleds in town due to slippery road conditions.
